The Latinx Studies Program and the Department of Spanish and Portuguese will host a table at the 2024 Festival Latino in downtown Columbus on August 10 and 11. This free, family-friendly event celebrates family and community with two days of children’s activities, music, food, fashion, art and dance from the heart of Latin America. The event offers lively music, dancing in the streets, cultural and arts workshops for children and adults, Latin-American cuisine and community information tents.

Representatives from Latinx Studies and the Department of Spanish and Portuguese will be present for the duration of the fair, handing out free branded items like lip balm, bookmarks, stickers and more. Faculty will be on hand to answer questions about classes, resources and events through their programs at Ohio State.

The festival is located in Genoa Park, 303 W. Broad St. Columbus, OH 43215. 

Paid parking for the public and handicapped persons is available at COSI (333 W. Broad St.), the Columbus Commons garage (55 E. Rich St.), and nearby surface lots. Bicycle racks will be located at each festival entrance.
