Hope R. Amezquita, president of the Hispanic Law Students Association, is a third year law student at The Ohio State University, Moritz College of Law.  Hope serves as a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Ohio and as a professional mentor for the Minority Advising Program at The Ohio State University.  Additionally, Hope is a member of the International Law Society, Ohio Young Democrats, and the American Civil Liberties Union.  Hope enjoys volunteering, reading, traveling, and cheering for the Buckeyes.  Hope will graduate in May 2006 and aspires to work in civil/human rights law serving underrepresented communities.  Hope graduated from The Ohio State University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and a minor in Latino/a Studies.

Megan St. Ledger, Vice President of the Hispanic Law Students Association, is a second year law student at The Ohio State University, Michael E. Moritz College of Law. As an undergraduate at Providence College, Megan double majored in Political Science and English, and she also played varsity volleyball and softball for the Friars. In her free time, Megan enjoys mentoring students through Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Central Ohio and the Office of Minority Affairs Mentoring Program. Megan also serves as the Vice President of Fundraising for the Public Interest Law Foundation at the law school. Next summer, Megan will be working in the Manhattan office of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, an international law firm.
